We are based in Suffolk, near the small market town of Halesworth so we are willing to travel within 1 hour travel time radius which is included in the overall cost. 

Any further we will of course consider this but will have to factor this in to the cost due to the extra time & costs involved with travel. 

Yes, we pay an annual fee to cover public liability. We are happy to provide a copy on request. 

We ask that you pay 50% of the cost at time of booking so that we can secure the date & time. We would then ask you to pay the balance 48 hours prior to the event. 

We accept cash, credit & debit card, PayPay or bank transfer. Invoices will be sent via Zettle. 

We all know that plans can change, so if you do need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible, so that the date can be offered to someone else. If you cancel before 48 hours of the event then you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 48 hours, you will lose the 50% deposit as we are very unlikely to get another booking within that timescale. 

If due to an emergency or illness, Glitter & Glitz have to cancel you will be informed as soon as possible so you can make other arrangements. You will of course receive a full refund of any monies paid. 

Unfortunately we are unable to paint for free, but we can help with fundraising.  If you would like to offer “Free Face Painting” at your event, you may wish to consider having a business or trader sponsor the face painting or alternatively you may be able to apply for local funding for your event in order to cover our costs. 

Glitter & Glitz will provide all the paint/ brushes/ glitter etc... 

You will need to provide a table & chair. 

We will also need a power source if the event is at night so we can have lighting. 

The face painter will need to park near to the event so that equipment can be loaded at the start & end of the event. 

There also needs to be access to a fresh water supply as the paints are water activated & will need to changed at regular intervals. 

We recommend face paint is removed after 4-5  hours. 

Apply a mild soap or baby shampoo directly to the skin adding a very small amount of water. Work into a lather & then rinse with warm water.

Using lotions or baby wipes may react with some ingredients in the paints and make them harder to remove or may cause discomfort. There is no set time limit for wearing face paints but we don’t recommend wearing any face paint to bed. It can get messy!

If you do get face paint on clothing or bed sheets, please wash as the label describes.

Glitter Tattoos will begin to wear away after 3-5 days. Should you need to remove a tattoo before then, this can be done by rubbing it off with a cotton ball, lotion or oil e.g.  baby oil. Allow the skin to soak in the oil for a few minutes before rubbing away the glitter in a circular motion. 

It normally takes about 30 minutes to set up & 20 minutes to pack down. 

We use a wide range of EU approved professional face paint and glitter products from various different brands and suppliers. 

Although unlikely we can not guarantee  a reaction will not occur. 

If you have sensitive skin & are worried about allergic reaction please ask for a patch test 30 minutes prior to receiving face paint.
